Maroons FC can confirm that forward Marvin Oshaba has completed a permanent transfer to NEC FC for an undisclosed fee.

Marvin joined Maroons FC in 2025 and quickly established himself as an important member of the squad. He was our leading goalscorer during the recently concluded FUFA Super 8 matches and has already found the net once in the Uganda Premier League this season, scoring against Ntungasaze.

A dynamic and dangerous forward, Marvin has demonstrated his ability to score different types of goals, combining his finishing ability with a strong work ethic and a willingness to put the team first.

During his time with Maroons FC, Marvin played an important role in our Uganda Premier League journey, contributing with his goals, commitment and professionalism both on and off the pitch.

We thank Marvin for his service and contribution to Maroons FC and wish him every success in the next chapter of his career.

Following his departure, the club remains well equipped in the attacking department. Prolific goal poacher Fred Amaku has already joined the club, while several promising young forwards within the squad provide additional options and depth.

Maroons FC remains committed to building a competitive squad capable of achieving our targets this season.

Thank you, Marvin, and all the best for the future.
