Maroons FC are delighted to announce the signing of budding left footed attacking midfielder Isaac Mpagi. 

The 20-year-old pens a two-year renewable contract at the Luzira Prisons Stadium after the One Force Army agreed an undisclosed fee with Tooro United.

Born in 2002, Mpagi began his youth career with Makerere University in Kampala before joining Uganda Premier League side Tooro United in January 2022, he gained alot of experience in the top division having played half of the season (2nd round) making a total of over 8 appearances. During his
tenure at Tooro, his tremendous performance moved many football lovers with his creativity and impressive stats. 

"First and foremost, it's a pleasure to finally be here at Maroons," said Mpagi while speaking to "there is still so much more to achieve since i haven't yet achieved much in my career and I'm really looking forward to doing that in a unique Maroon shirt".

"Luzira is now my new home, it's quite amazing that I have the opportunity to play in front of the fans with whom i am looking forward to meeting them soon".

d I can't wait to get going now and continue to do my talking on the pitch."

He is a pacy customer who is excellent with the ball at his feet. Mpagi's decision-making in and around the final third makes him a credible threat every time he gets possession of the ball in dangerous areas.

"Mpagi is great dribbler, he showcases great vision and has the passing range to match it and is brilliant in the center half, it's a privilege to have him as part of our growth". Senfuma Mohammed said.

"I can also add that, he's a big improvement to our squad this season and is exactly what we were looking for in terms of age, creativity and style of play".

Isaac Mpagi brings to Maroons alot of flexibility, mobility and attacking options at the front, having already signed David Ndihabwe, Brian Nkubi, Jacob Okao, Samson Kigozi, Arafat Kakonge and Noel Nassasira.

Mpagi's shirt number will be announced soon as he joins the One Force squad for the pre-season training soon.
