Maroons FC are delighted to announce the signing of workaholic holding midfielder David Ndihabwe

The 28-year-old pens a two-year renewable contract at the Luzira Prisons Stadium after the One Force Army mutually agreed with Arua Hill SC.

David previously played for Kitara FC, Bugesera FC (Rwanda) and Express FC where he joined Maroons in 2019, he left in 2021 for Arua Hill after spending a marvelous two year period in Luzira with wealth of experience in Uganda Premier League.

While speaking to,
Ndihabwe said, "Am so glad to be back home, this is the club I love most. Maroons remains so wonderful to me, the fans are also amazing, I am ready to work and deliver quality this season, I am happy to join fellow team mates"

Ndihabwe remains technically gifted, tactically astute, strong in the tackle and with an eye for goal, Maroons has an all-round package at the base of his star-studded midfield despite his advancing years.

e is a footballer of the present and the future. With him in the midfield, we are capable of dominating possessions" Senfuma Mohammed said.

What value does he add to Maroons?

David Ndihabwe is selfless player with an incredible engine, his energetic displays and never-say-die attitude reflect the values instilled at Maroons before in Luzira. He provides much more than just work rate, with the capability of playing in a variety of roles across the midfield and the technical ability to provide a threat in the final third with wide range shoots.

He joins the team for Pre-season today afternoon in Luzira. 

He joins Brian Nkubi, Noel Nassasira, Arafat Kakonge, Samson Kigozi and Jacob Okao who are part of Club since the window commenced.
