LANGO QUEENS 0-1 SHE MAROONS: Winnie Kyomugisha wins it late for the Prisons Queens

She-Maroons Football Club secure a comfortable 0-1 victory over Lango Queens on Match Day 3️⃣ of the FUFA Women Elite League top of group D on nine (9) maximum points.

Winnie Kyomugisha's late 79th minute strike set the Prisons Queens on their leading way towards the end of the match after missing numerous chances courtesy of Akullu ZamZam who came so close more than thrice but failed to convert as well Winnie and Anita Babirye, a game of many chances as it was for Maroons looked to be heading for a stalemate until Winnie took advantage of a defensive lapse to
latch onto a flick-on and finish it late for She-Maroons gifting them victory worth celebrating.

The Prisons Queens team sheet had many changes in the starting XI having rested Millicent, Kautharah, Joelia and Jacky. While playing four at the back, three in the middle and three up front, they started positively, with ZamZam slicing wide from inside the box and Lango's goalkeeper tipping a long-range free-kick from Kyomugisha around the post and saving a one on one attempt by Anita Babirye.
