She-Maroons Football Club, the ladies team of Maroons FC has officially released the squad due to participate in the FUFA Women Elite League.

The seventeen women squad includes two goal keepers, six defenders, five midfielders and four forwards

The team looks rejuvenated and COMPETENT enough having acquired talented players from across board for the shown down in Njeru Technical Center, some notable faces include Brenda Adongo, Namwembe Millicent, Naggayi Joan and Babirye Joelia among others

head into a qualifications quest to FUFA Women Super League with a supreme target bringing the trophy 🏆 home, Head Coach Sida Alex and his Assistant Ochuka Peter are so optimistic that history will be made remarkably.

He also added that

We have participated in assembling the team from different categories since we started trainings last year, the ladies look ready, fit and forcused with positive moods of winning the tournament and i believe nothing can't stop them from achieving their goals if given the opportunity.

The general team manager Aisha Bakari is also thankful to all support attributed towards developmen
t of women football within the Uganda Prisons Service as a department.

She-Maroons Media and Communications Officer Fred Akena has pledged to fully give visibility to the ladies from the start of the compaign until the end through back to back social media and digital marketing involvements.

The travelling party is expecting to conduct a Covid-19 test as required by law before participating in the tournament.

As required by the rules of FUFA, the team will be expected to test on Sunday in ahead of the start on Tuesday.

The team has received final briefings from the club chairman Director of Prisons-Moses Kakungulu who is fully rallying behind the team to achieve milestones and successes
